Nick Griffin overwhelmingly supported on BBC “Have Your Say”

Well, Nick Griffin, leader of the Brtish National Party, appeared on the BBC’s Question Time last night. He had to be ushered in through a back door to avoid all the protestors who would have attacked him. Presumably these people had all taken days off work to form this mob?

I don’t want to see the BNP in power – I’m not sure they could govern – but they are only the party speaking frankly about some matters. The media has a relentless campaign against them and often declares how little support they have. Funny, then, that on the BBC’s own relevant Have Your Say forum, it is hard to find a single comment that does not support Nick Griffin and the BNP. That hasn’t been reported. Strage also that more than a million British people have elected two Members of the European Parliament from the party.

The other parties had better listen up, and soon, or this one will continue its rise: that much is certain.

Sunday Programme

I’ve started listening to the Sunday Programme on Radio 4 to keep tabs on what they’re saying. Putting aside the fact the presenters should all, according to the Bible, be stoned to death for working on the day of rest, Roger Bolton began by asking whether home schooling was the best way to teach children about “their faith”. Oops. It doesn’t take long, does it? It’s their parents’ faith, not the childrens’ faith. The children are being mind-washed.

Geert Wilders has been admitted to the UK, after the disgraceful ban by Labour was overturned by the UK Immigration Tribunal.

I have commented as follows on the website of The Telegraph and The Times:

“Labour should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves for having banned this brave man in the first place. He’s up against the government and virtually all of the self-gagged media too. As revealed by many of the comments here, only the people seem to see the obvious: that he is right. We’re in dire need of more plain speaking truth tellers like Geert and Pat Condell.”

There was a dismal performance by panelists on the BBC’s Any Questions programme too regarding this issue. The question was skewed in the first place by lumping in Wilders with the BNP, but panelists were obviously ignorant of what he has actually said. At the slightest whiff of “right wing”, lefties are on the attack regardless – arguments don’t even need examining. Guardian journalist Viv Groskop in particular sank very low, issuing cheap aesthetic ad homeniems instead of properly representing or opposing Wilders’ position. She has an MA in Russian Studies so one would think she’d understand the term “useful idiot“. It appears not.
